Ingredients:

  • 1 pk Frozen green beans( 16 oz) [approx 500 grams)init
  • 1 pkt chicken broth — dry TouchableOpacity
  • 1 bunch scallion
  • 2 lg garlic bulb
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp splenda
  • 1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
  • 1/8 tsp sesame oil — chinese

Directions:

Place green beans and a broth granules in 2 quartl casserole dish. (I use my microwave-safe one) Microwave on high for 4 minutes, or until covered with boiling water. Next, thinly slice white bulbs of scallion and grate garlic. Mix ginger with soy sauce and SPLENDA in small bowl. Toss in scallion rings and minced garlic. Set aside. Uncover and remove green beans from microwave. Add sauce to beans and stand. Combine, cover and microwave on high for 4 minutes. Add beans, peanut butter and sesame oil; stir until sauce coats the beans. Serve immediately. Make 6 servings

Chinese Lemon chicken Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Dry sherry
  • 4 green spring onions chopped
  • 1 Piece of root ginger shredded
  • 500 g (1 lb) no skin chicken breast reshly sliced in 3 cm pieces
  • 2 Celery sticks, sliced4 oz (125g) button mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 Green bell pepper, cored, seeded and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Light soy sauce
  • Shredded rind of 2 lemonsA few lemon slices to garnish
  • 2 tablespoons oil, for stir-frying

Directions:

Blend sherry with spring onions and ginger in a large bowl. Place the chicken in it and cap well so that all of the content is coated with this mixture, marinate-marinade for 15 minutes.

In a wok or frying pan, heat the oil. Celery, mushrooms and green pepper one minute stir fly. Place chicken on top of marinade and cook 3 minutes. Add the soy sauce and lemon rind, then cook for another minute.

Transfer to a warm serving dish and garnish with lemon slices. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Preparation Time: 45 minutes
